Investment Banking CertificationQuestion: Are there other jobs in different industries that investment banking professionals would work well in?

Answer: Investment bankers who choose to leave the banking industry may have the opportunity to move into any of a variety of other professional fields. Some former investment bankers choose to stay in the financial sector that they have come to know. Jobs along these lines might include work evaluating investments at hedge funds or searching for acquisitions at buyout firms (including venture capital companies and private equity businesses). There is also an excellent precedent of investment bankers moving into management roles at operating companies; job titles of CEO, COO and CFO are not unheard of. Some bankers move into the management consulting space.
