Investment Banking CertificationQuestion: Is there an investment banking undergraduate degree option available at most schools?

Answer: There is no investment banking undergraduate degree option at most schools (and possibly not one available at any school). Students who aim to enter the investment banking profession should be encouraged to enjoy their time in school while taking a variety of courses in numerous fields. Some schools may offer courses in finance, business or accounting; exposure to these topics would certainly be helpful to future bankers, but the material is by no means necessary. Liberal arts students might want to take some economics courses, but it is not necessary as banks routinely hire liberal arts graduates with just about any major.
